ACEN09 is now over, half my cons this year are done, and what is to be said......bring asprin for the morninng after. The cons thus far have been ok so far with ASTL09 being my favorite at the moment. I can say however my cosplay skills have increased someswhat and it was proven at ACEN. I wore my Eva Unit 1 outfit throught the convention on saturday and started at 11am. I planned on wearing it for only about 45 minutes, enought time for the Evangelion shoot and the hall costume contest. I actually didnt get to leave the convention until 2pm from the large swarm of people takeing my picture. I actually had to try to excape several times and kept getting trapped behind large ammounts of people with cameras. While I was honored that people loved it......I was kinda roasting in it and needed to get out before I passed out. I now realise that there can be some danger to some cosplays at large cons and why you only see them for so long.
Beyond that note.......I may be posting some drawings soon if I finally get some time to do so with comissions now comeing at a steady pace for anime props. We now have a metal worker in my small group we call "The Basement" and plan to soon start makeing automail and mechanical arm props. I cant wait to finally have a metal automail arm and someone who can help me with the body armor lol.
